ISIT PARIS “DIGITAL STRATEGY AND INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION”

Created in 1957, ISIT is a non-profit higher education institution which grants government-accredited Master’s degrees. Along translation and interpreting programs, ISIT has continued to widen the scope of its programs with courses in intercultural communication and management, digital communication, law and international relations. Graduates pursue a wide range of careers all over the world in the marketing, communications, human resources, sales and purchasing departments of international companies as well as in international organisations, including the European Union, NATO, the OECD and the United Nations (UN), as translators, conference interpreters and lawyer-linguists.
As part of its numerous partnerships, ISIT has developed a special relationship with China. To this end, ISIT has signed partnership agreements with five Chinese universities for academic mobility, teacher research mobility as well as double degree programs with BISU and BLCU in Beijing and GDUFS in Guangzhou (Canton).
1 - FACILITIES
ARRIVAL IN FRANCE
Participants will be welcomed at Charles-de-Gaulle airport in Paris on Sunday the 23th of July 2019. Courses will start on Monday the 24th of June 2019.
Upon arrival in France, the participants will be welcomed at Charles de Gaulle airport by members of ISIT’s International Relations Office and will be accompanied to their accommodation located inside of Cité International Universitaire de Paris (CIUP) in Paris’ 14th arrondissement near ISIT. The residence can be reached by the suburban “RER B” train directly from the airport.
ISIT will provide accommodation for all the participants at Cité International Universitaire de Paris (CIUP), which offers double rooms with a private bathroom. The residence is located 15 minutes away from ISIT by RER.
Breakfast and lunches are included in the program. Breakfast will be available at CIUP’s cafeteria and lunches will be offered at ISIT. Dinners are not included in the fees but students will have access to a self-service kitchen where they are staying.
Participants will be provided with a Paris monthly public transport pass upon arrival (Navigo card – 5 zones). This pass provides them with unlimited travel in the region of Paris.
RETURN TO CHINA
Last day of the Summer school: Friday 19th July 2019
Return to China: Either a late flight on Friday 19th or on Saturday 20th 2019
