Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree by June 2012.


Applications deadline:

Fill out the on-line pre-application form. Application deadlines are indicated on the GEM website between September and beginning of October 2011

Late application will not be considered.

Admission decision:

You will be informed of the GEMs decision one month after the selection session.

Selected students will have to confirm their acceptance of admission by January 31st 2012

Registration deadline: May 31st 2012


Courses being in French, students have to learn French language before leaving to France.

Students have to start French courses during this summer and questions in French will be asked during the interview.

 They will be offered to attend a 8-week French intensive course organised in France during the summer.


Each institute will offer candidates a scholarship covering two years of tuition (up to €15,000 a year). The French Government, GEM and French companies, who wish to hire engineers trained in France, may offer additional scholarships to outstanding applicants, helping to support tuition and living expenses in France (up to €10,000 per year).

In the morning, written exams in mathematics and physics will be hed and then students with good results will have an oral interview with GEM Professors.

The session will start at 9.00 am. Be present at 8.30 am and bring your ID.

  • Written test (Mathematics 1h30 and Physics 1h30): 17th of October, 8:30 to 12:00
  • Oral test (30 minutes per candidate): 17th of October, 13:30 to 17:30 and 18th of October, 8:30 to 12:00
