Its School of Law and Political Science enjoys more than 600 years of history; its excellence in the different fields of teaching and research, and in particular in Economic Law, make it a highly respected school not just in France, but also throughout Europe and around the world.

The summer school is located in Aix-en-Provence, a city of about 150,000 inhabitants, between the Mediterranean Sea and the French Alps. The city of Aix-en-Provence is famous for its music festivals, fountains and a pleasant sunny climate. Cezanne's paintings immortalize the beautiful countryside of this region. Aix-en-Provence's campus is located near the city center, just a short walk from the students’ residence halls.

This three-week course is intended to provide students with an insight into Business Law in Europe. We will consider the basic structures and principles of the European Union before focusing on various specialized areas of law and the challenges they face. Reading documents will be provided, and a PowerPoint Presentation will illustrate the lectures.
We will also focus on the academic approach of doing research in Europe and will train students to be more familiar with this approach.
Special attention will be given to legal terminology in Chinese, English and French, enriching this Summer School with a comparative dimension.

This Summer School also offers the possibility of complete immersion in the economic and legal life of the region, including a visit to a business incubator and the court of appeals.

Come to the Center of Economic law in Aix-en-Provence and enjoy high-level teaching and the opportunity to undertake research in a world-class University, having the chance to explore the beautiful and culturally rich center of Aix-en-Provence and its surroundings.
